16 Days of Activism

The 16 Days in WA campaign is an annual event inspired by the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.  Running from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through to 10 December (Human Rights Day), 16 Days in WA encourages the community to come together to stop violence against women through education and awareness raising activities and events. 

The 2024 campaign theme is ‘Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play Your Part’.  In alignment with our advocacy priority of freedom from family violence and abuse, Anglicare WA will play its part by participating in or hosting a number of community events throughout the 16 days, starting off with the 34^th March Against Domestic and Family Violence.
