Counselling

Short-to-medium term one-on-one counselling or family work with professional grief counsellors is available at no cost. 

Outreach

A grief counsellor can visit newly bereaved families at their home and provide initial support.

Peer Support

Spend time with a trained volunteer who has been there. Peer Supporters have been bereaved by suicide in the past and are here to help those newly bereaved.

Professional advice and support with referrals for ongoing support.

Facilitation of a meeting (formal or informal) with the bereaved and their work colleagues before the return to work date, to ease the process of facing work again.

Counsellors are able to attend to present to schools/groups and debrief where necessary. Counsellors can also provide support to staff and parents.
