If you’re a thrill-seeker who’s keen to make a difference, Anglicare WA invites you to come “take The Plunge” at the annual Central Park Plunge fundraiser on Friday 25 October, where you will abseil 130 metres down Central Park Tower on St George’s Terrace in Perth to raise funds for Anglicare WA’s services.
For over 40 years, Anglicare WA has been supporting individuals, families and communities across our state in times of need. We are passionate about creating a just and fair Western Australia where everyone can thrive. As a leading agency of social change, we draw on our experience and expertise to empower people, strengthen communities and provide hope through our services.
Last year, Anglicare WA reached 68,449 Western Australians. Of this number, we supported 41,953 Western Australians through 104 direct services across 75 locations. This included helping people experiencing family and domestic violence, supporting people to strengthen their family relationships, and working with people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and mental illness.
We cannot achieve this vision alone and look forward to partnering with change-makers like you to make a real and lasting difference to thousands of lives in our local communities.
By taking part in this year’s Central Park Plunge, you’ll contribute to funding vital programs that make a genuine difference in the lives of people in our community who need it the most.
Together we can work towards a vision of a just and fair Western Australia where everyone can thrive.
