Our Christmas Wishlist

The holiday season can be a happy time, but it can also be challenging, especially layered with the cost-of-living and housing affordability crisis that is affecting so many Western Australians.  That is why Anglicare WA has come up with a Christmas Wishlist for the State and Federal Government that we hope will bring joy and hope to all Western Australians in the New Year as we head to the polls.

• Commit to long-term funding to address family and domestic violence

• Access to safe, secure, and affordable housing - for everybody
  

• More housing for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness
  

• Long-term vision and commitment to social housing
  

• Accessible education programs about healthy relationships

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recognition, justice and truth-telling
